#FirstTimeFriday Lauren B. Beauty Nail Couture

First of all, welcome to a new series! You may have noticed the #hashtag and I hope you’re excited for what’s to come! I’m planning on a fun new product, event, technique every Friday and sharing the experience with you guys! I’ve got lots of neat things lined up for this series, but I would LOVE your ideas too! You might have seen on Facebook, but I’m holding a little contest! Head over HERE for the details on how you can win a $10 Ulta Gift Card!

This weeks #FirstTimeFriday is my First Time trying out the luxury polish brand, Lauren B! About a week ago, their PR reached out to me about the fun Henna Nail Art post and I asked if they’d be interested in sending a bottle for review. Let’s face it, I’m a polish addict so I HAD to try this brand! They agreed and I gave them the names of 2 polishes I liked from their best sellers list. They surprised me with this gem: Aire of Bel Air.

Drool! This color, I honestly can’t stop staring!
Lauren B. Beauty is not only a luxury brand, but they’re also a conscience brand. Their products are formulated without gormaldehyde, formaldehyde resign, DBP, toluene or caphor making eco and vegan friendly. They are also made in the USA!
Aside from thinking about the health of their customers and the environment, their bottles are well thought out with an extra dense brush plus a dual designed lid with an outer layer (think Julep or Butter London) so you can decide which shape works best for your nail art.

Their polish also promises to be quick drying, high shine, chip resistant and long lasting.
I quickly removed my french tips seen above for a new Lauren B. mani!

Lauren B. Beauty has a full line of Botanical Nail Care that honestly, looks stunning! You can check that out HERE. I’m sure in the future I’ll pick up a few staples like their Gel-line Top Coat and Cuticle Oil. In the mean time, I’m sticking to some current favorites. Nail Envy in “Pink to Envy” and…

My CND Solar Oil. Of course.

I applied one thin layer of Nail Envy and three SUPER thin layers of this stunning cobalt shade. I topped it off with my CND Top Coat and a quick dip of cuticle oil. The results are flawless! This polish is absolutely everything it’s promised to be! I adore the lid (I used it square, personally) and the brush held the perfect amount of polish for navigating around my cuticle and avoiding a mess.
-My manicure dried quickly and without bubbles.
-Each coat was shiny, before top coat.
-I’ve done dishes and other things around my house and not a clip in sight!
-3 Days in and I’m still happy!

Overall, this is a great way to kick of #FirstTimeFriday! I see many more Lauren B. Beauty polishes in my future!
